Egypt

Hatshepsut reigns for 21 years. One of the very few female Pharaohs and certainly one of the most sucessful. During her reign egypt expands the frontiers via trade. A prosperous and peaceful time for the population.

Man and women seem to be equal, at least in the upper society. Statues of couples show men and women in very equal postures.

During the reign of her father Thutmosis I the first pharaohs are burried in the Valley of the Death. Religion changed in the sense, that now different than in old times, not only the Pharaoh could aquire a Book of the Death - a guide for the soul after life. Now "normal" people could also get the book and therefore the possibility of inmortality.
